Because they know we'll shut up and wait if we know what's good for us? :D

I honestly can't say that I enjoy getting ready. In fact I find it to be a pain in the neck. But it doesn't take me hours, and I do like the way I look when I put in the effort :) I always know what I'm going to wear. And I always have a backup ready in case I don't like the way the first outfit looks or fits.

Thats cool. I didnt mean all women. Just the ones who take aaaaaages

But seriously why do women take an hour to choose what to wear ?
Because some of us are just God Damn ugly, and can it take hours of tanning, doing our hair and applying makeup just to look remotely decent.

OK, so that's pretty extreme, but I think its fair to say that most of us do not look anything like the beauties that grace our Telly's and Magazines, and just to trying to come close to those standards takes absolutely ages.

That said, it takes most of those beauties absolutely ages to get ready too.

EDIT: The reason it takes me so long to get ready is that it genuinely just takes that long for me to look as I want to look - HOWEVER - Most of the time I do enjoy taking my time getting ready, doing my hair, picking out the right outfit and accessories, etc.
So to conclude, the 'getting ready' process its generally enjoyable but also very necessary.
