Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Mounting raw disk images under windows

I have a raw DD image of a windows hard drive as when i got it it died and there were bits and bobs needed off the drive. (reg entries and nasty stuff)

In linux i can mount the raw image without any problems but i need to do it from windows (and a vm isnt an option as its unbootable)

Can anyone recommend a free/open source app that can mount a raw hard disk image under windows as this will save me a few hours of my life:)

From memory rawread rawwrite can use them

But you would need another drive to extract the image to.

Mount Image pro will do it but it costs :(

Not sure about Daemon Tools http://www.daemon-tools.cc/

chrysocome.net used to have a cmd line tool, not sure if they still do

Failing all that how about running a bootable Linux say Knoppix?
