I can give one or two people a lift from town (ringsend area) leaving at 5:15 or so (I fully expect it to take about 90 mins or more to get there).

Oh Richie, bring yer tools :D

    drive safely!

The weather couldn't be worse down here, looks like another mud game, if its still lashing like this though at 6 I may not go, its honestly that bad here, and I assume its the same in swords.

yeah I just drove through Swords village a half hour ago and it was pretty nasty already around the roundabouts on the dual carriageway

I might go anyway, my first scirmish was wet and muddy, It was great fun getting mud all over my gear, instant camo :D

I hope the forecast for a clear evening is correct, and that the ground isn't too wet, I think I'm going regardless to be honest.

might not be to bad the birds have just started singing looks like the rain is fizzing out, and it would take a lot more rain than that to make the site muddy, keep to the path luke and you wont get wet

I managed to pack the car (rain knocked out the lifts in our complex, car is in the underground) and even make my way down part of the Navan road. But as I told the lads on IRC last night, after inching down the couple of km to the Castleknock roundabout in the pissing rain, I realised that I wasn't going to make it, and went home again. Half the kit is still in the car this morning :(
