Switzerland is officially no fun for airsoft. It's illegal. Apparently they only allow you to shoot real guns there. Unfortunately they hurt more. And potentially lead to criminal indictment and life long attachment to a hairy man with questional sexual preferences called 'Bubba'.
So I think I'll just wait until Christmas.

Is going into another country for an airsoft fix possible or is this an all work and no play trip?????

Probably wont be back out for games until Halloween.

So now that we've named the far town Midway, what about the near town? It's uphill from the border (and the rest of the site generally) so I was thinking Overlook might be good.

what a day, epic games, epescially the last game (fair play to Shane for that one

)...my tank was definatley empty after that one..great bunch of players there, specially in the afternoon

I'm glad people liked The Chart Game (I know I did) - it's not my idea, I just adapted it from Unconventional Airsoft.

There's a few tweaks I'd be inclined to make which I'll list here, and if anybody else has ideas on how to improve it from today's set-up, please post here. There's not a huge amount to it, it could easily become a regular fixture if people wanted it to. Once I've got it tweaked I'll put it up on the MilSim Dublin site so anybody can access it.

About 3 more objectives, including a second chess clock one somewhere else on the site about opposite to the bus
Make capturing prisoners a tie-breaker bonus objective instead, so you have reason to keep doing it instead of only doing it once
Make the current bonus objectives (grenade kill, pistol kill and knife kill) ordinary objectives
Make the hit time and the van repair time the same, because people seemed to have trouble with two numbers, probably to 60 seconds each
Make the secret bomb objectives easier, by not targetting the enemy base but a different building in the enemy's village
Put the codes somewhere different to the chart so prisoners being brought in can't see them
