I have a large type 8.4v batter you could borrow.

Or I can bring my super fast charger with me to HRTA. 20 mins and your battery will be charged to 80% of capacity.

also have the super duper style charger and tend to bring it with me, i've a mini 8.4v spare too if you need a small one

Big pb day = big paintball day????

Anyway. I may be there tomorrow. Depends on the weather and how lazy I'm feeling. Paul has chargers in HRTA as well that I'm sure he'd let you use. They are fairly fast as well.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,659 ✭✭✭CrazyRabbit

Balaam...you can show up at anytime during the day. We still had people arriving at 1:30 today. It's never too late to show up....unless it's 6pm.

Fletch, I don't know if there will be many there tomorrow. Turnout today was a bit dodgy.

4? Eeep. The fewest I've seen there is 5.

I don't know why people come late. Unless of course they have some morning commitments...

    Like sleeping

The AK that's currently in 30+ pieces? What should I do? Hit them over the head with one of the larger pieces? :D

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,877 ✭✭✭liamo333

That is what I thought you should do:p

Well, he's been forced to. He's also now a member of the broken AEG club.

    What happened to it?

*Edit* Ah I found his post in the other thread. Gear strip :O Wouldn't have expected that so fast from a TM. Easy up on the trigger Rabbit :P

Stripped a gear. Going a bit too mental with it I think ;)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,314 ✭✭✭Fiach Dubh

You see if everyone used mid-caps this wouldn't happen. Had to say it :D

Fired about 300 rounds early in the morning. All 2-sec burst fire indoors. Went outside and fired about 15 rounds into some styrofoam (which sounds cool btw), and it started making that horrible sound that makes you go 'Oh B%^$%x'

I was actually being conservative with my bb's for once! :D

with those pieces spread across opposite sides of the city to boot....

actually the first thing i heard was the gears going nuts, but did it jam or anything before that?

Typical, if your AEG is going to crap out it's always going to be early in the day

Nope...just went directly from firing to that whirring sound.

    thought as much... ah well

just as a warning for anyone who reads this btw: if your gearbox jams, DO NOT hold the trigger down and hope it will clear it, you'll likely burn out the motor or strip the gears/piston, although as demonstrated by Rabbit, gears can just randomly strip too! :D
