I too will be leaving from southside , Knocklyon, with 2 others in my car.
Are you looking for a lift?

I'll be there, gonna see how long I survive with just a GBB pistol and lots of mags

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,994 ✭✭✭ambro25

I might go yet, and if so will have 2 seats available, from Rathfarnham/Knocklyon.

If anyone starting Southside isn't sure where/how to go, and if I do go, we could agree a meet (say Knocklyon SuperQuinn's CP, specific time) and we can convoy.

Will be able to confirm tonight.

Only if its arrived, but thats looking doubtful - I normally hear from the customs clearance agent 24 hours before I receive the stuff.

    * silent cries *
    * shakes fist at world *
    * sets up an AEG sweatshop factory in Ireland so he never has to wait on freight & customs ever again *

No good, I'll need them full-time to stick the QC labels on.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,401 ✭✭✭Shiva

Some of them arrived this morning, but pre-orders have them all accounted for, sorry.

I ordered a second batch the other day, and opted for courier delivery, so they *may* arrive today. If they do, I'll bring some with me.

Screw it...they can get their education from the School of Life. I'd appreciate if you didnt give them a lunch break either - it'll save me making shoelace soup for them in the mornings.

Yeah, well thats 'cos I'm a responsible parent and my kids only get the best !
The sacrifices I've made for them...I have to wear Gucci slip-ons so I can afford to give them shoelace soup of a morning.

In 'AEG sweatshop factory', there's sweatshop.

Lunch break? WTF you think this is, 35h-week-bleedin-French-utopia or something? I've turned the kitchen into a stockade anyway, for families of employees failing to meet their quotas.

I'll expect them at 0400 sharp, and it's a 16 hour shift, 7/7. They can clean up the workshop 'til 2200 after that - it's unpaid, but company policy sez they gotta demonstrate commitment everyday.

Hmmm Ambro if you're clever you could sell it to some of the more gullible types out there as a weight loss program.

    Que the scene

    Ambro in a spandex BDU
"Are you overweight, do you want to lose weight..."

"Come to Ambro's AEG Sweatshop where we will ensure you lose pounds*"

    * may also involve loss of fingers, limbs and life.

I'm not a paintballer ;) yet I still object vehemently to any suggestion that I might ever spandex :D

Evolute - all to be confirmed tonight of course, but if you're coming from Bray and if we do this "pre-trip meet" in Knocklyon (lot of "ifs" by now),
get off at Junction 12 (Firhouse/Tallaght/Ballyboden),
cross over the M50 (so bear right),
take the first left at the next roundabout and
you'll see the CP across from you at the T-junction at end of street
(at the T-junction, you need to go left, right, right to go into the CP).

I don't know if you saw my posts about gas, adaptor and silicon, but if you bring these items I will buy them off you.

As Ambro has written meet at SuperQuinn in Knocklyon.
I will be leaving at 10:00am.

We have 2 cars and 4 seats free i think
