So nonex, whats the plan now?

Are you definitely getting those prefabs in? If so, when do you reckon theyll be at the new site.
Also, any info on what the site will look like in general?

I can't wait! Urban CQB is what i've been craving...

was looking at the village up in predator today, we could definitely do something along those lines (only bigger and better :p), there was one building in there which has 7 or 8 rooms in it, and it's like a maze, a bigger version of that would be great for the new hrta

thats the hotel i'd imagine. that was used as the last point of defence in the night shoot a while back and it was great crack.

A fair few of my female mates want to come along too, they're just worried that it'll turn out to be a load of, and I quote, "wierd blokes, standing around stroking each others guns"

to be honest I've only been half trying to encourage them, I'm not too sure I want to be shot at by a bunch of angry girls. I reckon if I do convince them to come along they'll decend en mass, like a hen party on crack and armed to the teeth. I promise I'll give you all advance warning...

We've had that thread... it went messy, and not one to be reattempted anytime soon :(

Best approach IMHO is entirely gender-neutral and "great, more players, let's have a few games and see what they're made of".

Preaching the converted (for the most part), I know :)

Now, about this HRTA 2.0 - c'mon, lets see some pics. I can't go airsofting until early November now, so I must be allowed to sustain myself by proxy through these electronic pages and some workshop fiddling ;)

Close your eyes. Now imagine yourself in a large peaceful square field. Now imagine that in the corners of this field, there are some pallets stacked against each other to form temporary barricades/bases.

You got a mental picture of the place now?
    :p

There is not much YET. A lot of work will be done on the site over the next few weeks.

    HRTA2MAP.jpg

Going by Paul's Google maps post this is the location of
    HRTA 2.
Anybody have any idea how to get there by public transport?
    (or close to it)
Best i can see is train to Rush and Lusk and taxi it from there.
Im sure plenty of people will offer lifts from swords or the like
but just in case there are none....

*Yes my spelling of Lusk(luck) is fantastic

I couldnt find the place when i went looking for it, is o'connells pub the yellow house with a single pub sign , couldnt see a name anywhere on it.
Sat nav cordinates might be helpful if someone has them, the google ones are map cords, not gps i belive.
Stuck working next weekend, wont be able to make it for a while

You turn right at the yellow pub and then left 2.4km down that road.
