Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    anyone else having this problem?

sites like youtube and others embedded flash (even bloody RTE) tells me that i havent got the latest version of flash installed even though i have.

when i redirect to adobe's site to install flash, its said successfully installed and i go back to the site i was viewing, and it asks me AGAIN to install the latest version of flash..

any solutions for this MOST irritating problem?

Strangely enough it worked first time for me no problems here, first site I went to the requested flash I just installed via the activex flash plugin and it worked.

However I have seen the problem you describe elsewhere on the net here is the temporary solutions

    1) Temporarily disable protected mode in IE7 or lower the ActiveX security settings and the installer should proceed.
    Or
    2) Download the standalone installer & run it.

Run the Flash uninstaller here and then re-install Flash...
