hi i applied in january to cao to do mechanical engineering in dit .can anyone tell me when places are offered ? i found the cao website unhelpful and frustrating and didn't see any details of when offers are made thanks

Standard offers to leaving cert students are made about a week after the leaving cert results come out.

thanks , i was wondering when they came out and was getting conflicting info ,may ,august etc

They normally come out a week after your results, so if I remember correctly you'll get them the Wed or Thurs after your results are out.
