Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Problems with 3 3G datacard and laptop

Apologies if this is not the correct forum for this. I bought a 3 datacard about 2 hours ago. It works fine on my laptop.... as long as the laptop is on battery power! If the laptop is on mains power it doesn't work at all. The shop says they've never heard of this before and that it sounds like a laptop problem. I am reluctant to return the card as I am getting great speeds (downloaded a 16.6MB file in under 2 mins). Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

might be a power saving issue, thats not setup or working right

in control panel, go into power options, and try setting the power scheme to something different, sometimes this can effect things.

Problem's solved. An earlier posted suggested it was a power settings issue. I just reset to default and it worked. Thanks for the reply.
