    When did Smyths Loyalty Discount get so stingy?

    I bought a €50 game, and the loyalty discount was a gigantic €1.20 (2.5%). What happened to 10% loyalty discount on week of release?

    They changed it? Balls!
    I bought Okami there last week and I still got 10% off IIRC.

    Damn... I should have asked him at the till.
    No biggie (its just €3.80 more), but its the principle of the thing :)

    I have a loyalty card with HMV, so I don't have one with Smyths.

    I feel that owning more than one loyalty card doesn't make me look very loyal at all.

    Yes, you wouldn't want to be a store-cheater ;)

    If you want a Smyths card Monkey, lmk, I have a spare one (they give you a free one when you buy a console, and I already have a card).

    I got one with my Wii. I just couldn't bring myself to sign it... A vision of a dog weeping into a gramophone kept creeping into my mind.

    As far as I know its 10% on newer games, then 2.5 for the older ones.

    I bought Kororinpa for the Wii, released yesterday.

    no, they cost a fiver.

    they used to be free but people used to just go in and get a card then just use it to get 10% off.

    I stopped buying games for the 360 in smyths when i discovered HMV are cheaper for new releases - recently new games have either been 58 or 59 quid in hmv

    Picked up crackdown yesterday for 57.99

    Its funny they're cheaper for games cos they can be damn expensive for dvds
