Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Bohs dominate Aberdeen friendly

    Bohs 0-0 Aberdeen
New-look Bohs outfought and outplayed Aberdeen last night in a pre-season friendly. Aberdeen survived, thanks to match officials working for Bord Fáilte, and in particular an extremely dubious offside that ruled out a Neale Fenn goal. Dessie Byrne also scored straight from a corner, but ref gave a free out.
For information: Aberdeen are third in the SPL, a few points off Rangers with a game in hand.

    Key word is "friendly".

Dont read that much into it.

I was impressed with JP Kelly and Glen Crowe. The small fella that came in on the left wing looked very good too. And keeper looks solid.

Negatives. Neale Fenn has loads of class, just wonder will the Bohs crowd run out of patience. HE HAS NOOO PACE.

    Most important thing.

Bohs will not win a league title with Jason McGunness in defence.

^ Lol, I give the Bohs fans 10 minutes of competitive football before the start getting on Fenns back. And thats if he is lucky!!! :)

Just reading foot.ie. People seriously think Bohs are now much better than Aberdeen after this? :) Hearts beat Osasuna 2-0 in pre-season. Rangers play Osasuna in the UEFA cup in a couple weeks. Should be an easy win for Rangers. ;)

Fúck sake lads, it was a bleedin' friendly. Aberdeen are in the middle of the season.

    Get over it ffs.

    Unbelievable.

Optimism doesn't come easy to Bohs fans, it was a very bright performance, in fairness.

I thought both goals were correct to be ruled out, but they do represent a sign of the pressure we had the Dons under for large periods.
