What do you use them for? I'd love a Quadra 700 but I know I'd never use it. We've a mint Quadra 800 under a table somewhere. Only stopping using it about 2yrs ago because couldn't get it on dial up. Could probably get it hooked to broadband now through a router but I doubt browsing the web would be work too well.

Just wandered into this forum ... never knew it existed!

I have a Mr T model Mac Plus from 1986, a Mac Classic from 1990, an LC 475 from 1993 and a Quadra 650 from 1994 ... all of which still work, but are rarely used.

I also have an Apple IIc from the dawn of time, and several Newtons all of which work on mains, but the batteries have gone the way of all flesh

My workhorse machine is a G4 Powerbook ... and I am awaiting delivery of a refurb iMac

I also have a Mac Mini which is looking for a purpose in life.

Up until I typed this, I would never have considered myself an Apple collector ... guess I am :)

I used to use a Quadra back when I worked in a printers. They're pretty damn big.... you wouldn't want too many of them in your collection.

I've been using macs for about 8 years now... so I've got a G3 and G4 iBooks, a 1st generation G4 Powerbook, a 1.25Ghz G4 Powerbook (My current laptop) I'll be getting a MacBook Pro when they next revamp the product line.

    I also have a Quicksilver G4 and a PowerMac G5.

Oh... and I have a 1st Generation iPod... it's actually got some form of retro charm going for it already.

Some Quadra's are big ... and strangely unloveable ... just like the Power Mac 650, which I forgot I had until just now.

    While we're at it ... Anyone got a Lisa ? :D

The Quadra 900, 950 were big. But so cool. The other Quadras weren't any bigger than any other mid tower or desktop.

I had to dump (actually recycle) 3 classic macs i had because no one wanted them. Not sure the models they were but one was a Macintosh Performa 5200 and the other two were a bit older and didnt have CD-ROM. Could have given them to someone like you. In my house we have 2 iBook G4s, 1 Aluminum PowerBook G4 (17"), 1 iMac G3, in Blueberry. i miss the old school macs!

Ive got a blue & white g3 (yosemite ??) that im prolly gonna have to get rid of soon.(i.e. when I eventually Move house)
It works & has Osx installed & I have been tinkering about with it a little but it worked better on os9(which I don't have now)
I'm not sure what the spec is -it served me well as did the beige things that came before it which all ended up in the skip..
First to ask (PM) & Who can collect can have it.
