Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

by a long country mile id say Mania X-7 is the best one ever,rock/austin was a great main event and the undercard had hhh/taker, tlc2,the gimmick battle royal, benoit vs angle, jericho vs william regal

runners up would be 19 purely for jericho/michaels and angle/lesnar
18 is worth watching only for hogan/rock and THE greatest crowd reaction to a match in wrestling history
XX has a great main event and a decent undercard
VIII has savage/flair ,bret/piper and the return of the ultimate warrior!

    whats everyone elses?

You forgot about Wrestlemania X. It had the greatest Wrestlemania opener between Bret and Owen plus the ladder match between Shawn and Razor. The main event had a great ending too with Bret winning the title off Yokozuna and having all the wrestlers celebrate with him.

WretleMania X-7 for me aswel, prob becauseit was the frst 'Mania I saw live on TV and the matches were brilliant.
X8 was very good to, 19 wasn't bad either, but really this (23) is gonna be da first 'Mania since 19, cos the last few just havn't had that 'Mania feeling to them. That said 22, wasn't to bad.

Going way back to Wrestlemania III, Ricky Steamboat V Randy Savage was a classic. I don't think the pace dropped in the entire match, brilliant. :)

agree about the last few not feeling like manias, something about massive arenas just gives the event a different feel, ill be posting a ****load of pics and videoclips of wrestlemania 23 as ill be there, counting down the days now

bret vs austin at mania 13 was a fantastic match as well, plus two characters swapped places in one match was great

    X-7 for me as well.
The matches between 'Taker V Triple H and Angle V Benoit were a very nice appetiser before the main event.

Wrestlemania XIV for me, the build-up for the alot of the matches was excellent, Especially the first ever Taker/Kane match and Austin/Michaels. Probably wouldn't be most peoples favourite card but it was for me as it was when I started getting back into wrestling and the the business was exploding.

Was it VII that had Hogan/Slaughter as the main event?

The psychology of that match was excellent and I'll always remember it.

^ It was indeed, a very patriotic themed event.

would i be right in saying its the only mania to be opened and closed by the same man (in 2 seperate matches) Bret Hart.
just watched the Owen v Bret Match again a few days ago on the bret dvd, pure class, curtain jerkers just aren't that good anymore, in fact most main events aren't that good nowadays
