Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Kane

Im just watching the Booker Vs. Kane match on SD at the moment and my god Kane is bad. I mean real bad. The guy can barely move! He takes moves badly and the moves he executes look awkward and stiff. He's been like this for a good few months now and to be honest he's well past his sell by date. To make things worse it looks as if he's going to be put into a feud with the worst wrestler of all time: The Great Khali! That will actually be the worst match of all time.

I caught a few minutes of the match earlier on one of the recap shows, and I have to agree with you to an extent. I don't think I've seen a full Kane match since he went to SD, and he looked a good bit more out of shape than how I remembered him. If he had just debuted like he is now, I don't think he could get over. Khali's an awful man, would he not just stay on one show?! Impossible to escape him

Well to be honest I can't see Khali being in WWE for much longer. I mean, what can you do with a guy like that? He can't talk and he can't wrestle, combine this with the nature of his size and your limiting yourself to very little options as to what feuds he can be included in. I'd put my money on him being gone by the summer.

I feel bad for the guys who've worked hard all year and put on good matches whose place at WM is being taken by Khali. Thought they'd have sent him packing by now. I feel bad for Mickie James and Victoria too, if the only women's match at Mania is Melina and Ashley

I'm all for Khali and have no problem at all watching him in small doses.

Wrestling is a bit like a circus in that theres something in it for everybody and its a place for all shapes and sizes. Kane v Khali as a match doesn't float my boat. But I can see some casual fans being interested. I have a couple of friends who love the whole giant v giant thing.

Plus it'll be very short as match so it won't ruin the card or anything.

I'm not saying he should be the champ or anything doing 20 minute matches (believe me I don't want that!). But there is a place for 7ft+ guys who talk nonsense and wrestle badly. There always has been and there always will. Why? Because (in the nicest possible way) freaks draw.

On Kane, I think its just an age thing. As a big guy, I don't think he's close to be in the league of say Undertaker but he did have some good days. I could be wrong but his physique started to slip when the wellness policy kicked in.

I thought I read somewhere that Kane has some sort of injury. He doesn't look 100% anyway.

On Khali, I kind of like him in a "so bad he's good" kind of way. You have to respect a guy who takes out The Undertaker with a bloody chop to the head.

Kane/Khali could be enjoyable if it's made into a hardcore match or something. I'd love to see Khali taking some stiff chairshots.

It wasn't even a chop that he pinned Taker with. Taker kicked out of the chop, but got pinned right after by a kick to the chest!

Somehow I don't think Khali could sell something that actually hurts

Saw Khali walking up the street in Manchester in November after wwe visited the MEN. Have to say it was the saddest sight - he took about 20 mins to stroll a 100 yards... was going to say hello to him but i felt too bad for him to be faced with a fan when he could hardly walk.

He is HUGE is reality but he moves like an 80 year old, i s**t you not!

^So why the hell did Vince hire him then? I mean if he's in that bad of shape then wrestling is the LAST thing he should be doing!

Vince saw money in him. And if Khali is prepared to put his body through the mill, well Vince isn't gonna say no.

I thought his match with Booker T at no way out was good enough.
    About his physique:
He lost his physique long before the wellness policy. Contrast the kane of 1998 with the Kane of 2003 there was even a notable different in muscle mass by that stage. I think he started losing it after he came back from the torn bicep.

The Kane/Big Show "technical wrestling" match from about a year ago was excellent and Kane was moving pretty well back then.

I think since he was taken off Raw he has let himself get out of shape.

Kane can put on good matches with the right opponent, but Khali is not the right choice.

His feud with Jericho was excellent.

You know what I think it is... I think Kane can't really have a good match unless theres somebody good to carry him in the match and in turn make him look good.

Does anyone if Kane is still going to Retire after Wrestlemania? Kane hasn't ever really impressed me but he has been in some impressive matches. But he alrite for as far as big wrestlers go.

JR said in his blog a couple of weeks ago that neither Kane nor Undertaker are planning to retire any time soon
