Why didnt Henry play and fantasy league advice

Hi folks,
why didnt Henry play in todays Carling cup final. Seems amazing that such a player wasnt even included in the subs. He wasnt injured was he?

Also, just want to revise my fantasy league team and would like opinions.
Im debating between buying Henry and Drogba. Drogba is on a scoring run but Henry is likely to score more now too.
I already have Lampard and Bridge in my team and no Arsenal players so perhaps i`d be wise to go with Henry.
Both Chelsea and Arsenal ar eplaying twice next week, Chelsea v Portsmouth and Man City while Arsenal v Villa and Reading.
Is Henry likely to start more games now, why are they leaving him out. Drogba will guarantee me his start at least.

Also if i buy Drogba ill have 1.5M left over to spend elsewhere whereas with Henry ill have about 0.7left over. So which option do ye think will get me the most points over the next 4weeks. Cheers.

Ps: Is there a seperate little fantasy league froum section here,?

Yeah, Wenger has always used the Carling Cup to blood the younger players, and the guys who dont make the first team as much. Would have been very poor form to drop the people that got them there. Especially as both Baptista and Aliadiere were particularly instrumental in reaching the final with their goals, while i dont think Henry was even on the bench for any of the games.

There should be a little fantasy forum bit off the soccer section so you can post just fantasy league threads and stuff.

Anyway, i went with Henry.
My team now stands at:
James
Bridge / Shorey / Carragher / Geary

Lampard / Sidwell / Arteta / Ronaldo / S Quinn

Henry / McCarthy / McBride

What ye think? I wanna try get an Everton defender in shortly, like Yobo or Lescott. Wanna get rid of McCarthy too as hes doing nothing.

Id imagine theres not much use for an entire forum on a fantasy league. Besides it would probably just be broken largely into the different game weeks, so as it stands now you just go to the most recent page for the current game week.

Couldn't see Bridge playing a lot now with Cole just back from injury.

Henry isn't playing at all like his old self this season so he probably isn't good value on FF.

Are you being sarcastic? Have a look at his points in the last 5games in the fantasy league. Hes extra class this season despite taking a little time out a while back.

I bought Henry and Quinn-S by the way, Henry playing twice this coming week and ill make him captain, some handy points coming my way

and about your 'reality', since the turn of the year, henry has 4 goals and 3 assists in 5 games. not bad

in fact, in the PL this year, he has 10 goals and 5 assists in 17 games (16 starts, 1 Sub)

Henry isn't playing at all as well this season and hasn't looked like himself. Reel off stats all you like.

in mine he has been pretty much the same, excellent.
the media have latched onto this so a lot of people are saying it.

In mine and virtually every Gooner's opinion (Gooners being the ones who watch him and Arsenal the most). The media latch on to these things waaaaaaaay after the fans have been saying these things. I can point you to a thread with 2000+ posts on the topic, started last November, if you like.

Henry is a waste of space this year for fantasy football. I sold the over-priced waster this morning after buying him back on wednesday.... I'm sorry Drogba I won't lose faith in you again....
