    Hi guys,

Was thinking of organising something like this for all posters in the Limerick area. How many people would be interested??

have you got an age limit

Since it's a thread entitled "Limerick Beers", I'd reckon 18+, but I know some pubs, etc are 21+ or 23+ so that might be a consideration.

And I presume we're not excluding any senior citizens on the boards ?

Either way, I'm somewhere in between and I'm on, subject to date and venue (working a lot of weekends).

Lets say 18+.... I'd be looking to book the function room in Dolans for it so I'm not too sure what the limit is there. If we could agree on a time and date we can start making plans.

I think we'd be better off doing it in a pub as booking an area

Unfortunately left 18 behind me a long time ago. What is likely to be the age spread...

The venue would depend on the night surely.

Ha ha ha I can see the headlines now "Boards.ie forum members go on rampage, 20 arrested by Gardai". RE: Bouncers. I find that the bouncers on the new Flannerys in Denmark street are the soundest I've come across in any pub in Limerick. Very very nice pub as well.

I'd be interested too, guys... as long as its not all young 'uns :) (almost 33 here)

Does a week day make more sense? At least one person has said they can't make weekends, and in my experience places are more relaxed at weekdays. Maybe a Thurday night so people who have work or college the next day have only one day of being tired before the weekend.

Maybe the Thurday 15th of March* as it's just before a bank holiday?

*Despite my other points I've really only selected this date as it is a day I will be in Limerick. :D
