Problem for beginner, loading up logos and pdfs

Trying to upload some logos and pdf and keep getting the following message: FTP Error cannot put bb.pdf. Access denied. The file may not exist or there may be a permission problem. My thanks in advance

why not just contact your host?
That would be the most straightforward and easiest way to sort out your problem.
