Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

HDD DVD + DV Cam Question

I just noticed that my Sony RDR-HX520 HDD/DVD Recorder has a DV-in port on the front and wanted to know if i can plug my DV Cam into this and record onto DVDs or the Hard drive? This would be very handy as Iv been looking for a way to store these videos and my PC isnt up to it. Also, when I try to record from Chorus on my…

I just noticed that my Sony RDR-HX520 HDD/DVD Recorder has a DV-in port on the front and wanted to know if i can plug my DV Cam into this and record onto DVDs or the Hard drive?
This would be very handy as Iv been looking for a way to store these videos and my PC isnt up to it.

Also, when I try to record from Chorus on my TV a little message comes up in the corner reading 'Smartlink - No Recording'. Does anyone know what Smartlink is and how I can fix it? It did work before.
