Wireless connection with ExpressCard slot

Was just wondering if anyone has any ideas on this. Got a new laptop which will happily hop onto a wifi hotspot and just about have a gprs link with my mobile over bluetooth. But I need to be able to connect when ever and where ever and would prefer to get a data card. Problem is the laptop only comes with an Express Card slot and I can't even get a Vodafone 3G modem coz it's not compatible with sodding Vista. Is there any solution out there that won't cost the earth?

If you hold tight, I think o2 will have an express card released in the next few weeks and it will be compatible with windows vista. I am not sure how much it will cost though:( . You can also use the card in a laptop that has a PCMCIA slot which is handy:)

You can get wireless access points ( cant think of brand atm) that take a 3g card. At least it would work with almost any laptop / desktop with a wireless card.
