Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I remember, when that plane crashed in new york, shortly after 9/11, the page for that story on I think it was CNN, had a banner advertising cheap flights to New York.

Which is why the thread is called irony.. the fact that there is none causes it to become a self proving item.

    Alanis Morrisette would be proud.

We're not going to have to go through that Ed Byrne joke from 1997, are we?

there was a story before where a bus eireann bus crashed and the ad at the top was for bus eireann. i don't think its random. i think the ads are targeted based on whatever's in the story and the program isn't smart enough to know its negative

Hahaha... laughing at these responses... maybe I should have called the thread 'coincidence' in fairness :)

And no its no a doctored pic!
