    Statoil is part of the Topaz Group along with Shell. Give it time and they will be rebranded.
    As for fuel coming in for the Reublic, (with Topaz) it arrives into Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Galway and Derry, where it may be given various dyes or additives. Also if you are worried about the safety then take a drive around Dublin port. The fuel is pumped off the ship in the port yet the fuel depots are not beside the docking area - hence the several pipes around the port!
    If you look at the Topaz (formerly Shell) depot on Alexander Rd in Dublin port, you will see plenty of non shell trucks coming and going - the fuel is 'shared' with other suppliers.
