Efficent power supply?

I have a wireless network in my house that is on all the time. The two power supplies it uses are very hot indicating they are wasting alot of energy. These are 12V 1000ma and 10v 1.2 amps. Do you know of efficent replacements for these power supplies with a better power factor? There are plenty of stories in the media…

There are plenty of stories in the media about phone chargers that are not in use. But these only use 1/4 of a watt. So fixing our hot wireless networks power supplies might be of more use.
