    We Do Music Present...
Ed Banger Records St Patricks Day Party!
    Uffie, Sebastian, Feadz
Saturday March 17. Temple Bar Music Centre. Doors 11pm

Uffie, in the space of just one year has become one of the biggest stars on the scene, we're
told a lot about the power of www.myspace.com and Uffie is a fine case in point.
Having already clocked up a phenomenal 800,000 + hits proves, there's some serious online
interest in this Floridian electro-rap siren.
She makes Peaches look like a horny granny!

Coupled with the fact that Ed Banger Records are known for its seriously raucous parties,
and the location, Dublin city on St Patrick's day this is going be a night to remember.

When local electronique hero Mr Oizo heard Uffie’s breathy flow and witnessed first hand
her insane delivery it was a no-brainer of a match up – the kind of chance encounter from
which magic was always likely to emerge. Although a total newcomer to the game – a mere
ten months ago, dreams of becoming a fashion designer of ballerina were far more pressing.
Ed Banger’s own DJ Feadz (also playing this party) convinced Uffie to rhyme over his beats
and ‘Pop The Glock’ - the even better B Side to debut single ‘Ready To Uff’ – was born.

As a follow up to the demented electro-rap of that underground summer smash ‘Ready To
Uff’, ‘Hot Chick’ is another self explanatory celebration of 80s synth bass and smut that
is a modern take on a Mantronix and Bambatta's fusion of electro and rap albeit with a
    feminine twist

Another fast rising start playing in March is Sebastian with tracks like the gritty, distorted
but ultimately groovy 'Walkman' bouncing off ear-drums worldwide. Along multiple remixes
for The Rapture & Daft Punk, This sharp dressed man is a fine producer and one the stars
of the Ed Banger parties when he DJs

Completing the Ed Banger line-up is Feadz, a Parisian beatmaster who's unique production
style accompanies Uffie on both record and tour. With his solid dj background Feadz has
worked with Mr Oizo on his first album 'Analog Worms Attack and produced several ep's on
Ellen Allien's much respected Bpitch Control label.

Support comes from The Disco Infiltrators

Advance tickets available now from City Discs, Temple Bar.
    We're ready to...
