Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Windows Terminal Server Forkbomb Protection

    hi,

    i have a windows terminal server running and it has been victim to a forkbomb which killed it stone dead, anyone know how to protect WTS from forkbombs. i tried googling but to no avail.

    I think you could use pskill.exe ntvdm if it's just batch processes

    But you are up against stuff like this - so you really have to clamp down on users rights, running in a Kiosk mode so they can only run what is expressly permitted
