Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Wolves really deserve this game, they've hammered Brum.

    That's really weird just there.
I had in front of me, the page which had KdjaCL (gee how many of them do you have now), and I posted after it, but now my post has appeared before it, claiming I posted at 1341, when in reality I posted at 1343. That's just weird.

    3-2. Brum to go top.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,617 ✭✭✭✭PHB

    wow!
What a game, if this stays like this, the automatic promotion fight should get very very very interesting. With Sunderlands loss yesterday, all three of them could just as easily win the thing as get dragged into the playoffs.

Holy ****, missed peno!! For his hattrick! What a game :)

After yesterday - Cardiff have now fallen away & can no longer go up - so they've been removed from the above table (updated from last weekend); and as per last weekend - we know it's going down to the wire for the remainder of us. Well done Birmingham for beating Wolves at Molineaux today! West Brom are away to Burnley on Monday night (Live on SKY SPORTS 1 btw.)

    Onwards we go! 8)

Personally I am hoping/praying that Preston continue to slip up.

And so it goes to the wire. Thrown away 4 points with conceding equalisers against Cardiff and Hull in injury time but still in with a shout. Come on Steve Cotterill and his bunch of Stoke Reserves - do us a favour tomorrow night against the Baggies :)

Colchester United at the Britannia Stadium next saturday is going to be a massive game.

A Huge game, I am hoping for a draw there :D
How is Hoofer Higginbotham getting on with ye?
I was at the Saints v Stoke game this season,
Saints won, not a great game, fuller got abused.

Was also at that game. Higginbottom has been a rock , basically carried Duberry for the first half of the season and now has formed a decent partnership with Jon Fortune at the back. Got our Supporters Club's Player of the Season. Well i wouldnt be exactly happy with a draw there as i have already bought my ticket for QPR away.

Baggies throw away 2-0 lead at Burnley - Come on Burnley :) - You have my support for next half an hour at least :D

Higgy is your player of the season, I'm stunned. he was not going to be more than a squad player for us this year had he stayed.

Fair play to Burnley last night. keeping the playoffs tighter than a Nunns .......

Just done the ever annoying Predictor http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/eng_div_1/predictor/default.stm

    2 Sunderland 28 gd 88 pts

Brum could still drop points, Wolves was only their first hard game, and they hardly came through it in shining colours.

Well another rollercoaster weekend for my favourite in-form team.

A win away against Birmingham and I think Mission Impossible is almost completea reality.

5 wins in a row, needs to be 7.

Immore worried about the bottom the league as Leeds face the biggest 7 days in the history of the club. If we go down then it will take a long long time to get back up.

I wrote a post in the Leeds thread so not gonna repeat myself. Here is the post if anyone wants a read:

A very soft penalty has been awarded to Sunderland.

Justice prevails, Connollys pen has been saved. Still 1-0

Trevor Kettle - The most frustrating referee I've seen officiate games. I've been to many games where he has been in charge and the decisions he comes up with have been weird to say the least.

I wonder what odd's I'd get on Derby to win and Birmingham to draw.

    To take it to

    Sunderland 85pts
    Birmingham 84pts
    Derby 84pts

Would make the last day VERY interesting.

Saturday has finally come , been up since just after seven and already ma lady knows something is up. I am never up that early on the weekend. Nerves are jangling , i suppose they ll get worse the closer it comes to 3pm. It's probably Stoke City's biggest game since 1996. Already been round to the Britannia Stadium walking the dog , past Sir Stanley Matthew's Statue , trying to fill in time before kick off. A win and we are in with a chance of the playoffs, a draw or defeat to Colchester and it's all gone. Knowing of fans on this board supporting Wednesday , Leeds etc. It's certainly going to be a rollercoaster of emotion weekend

    HEY!!! None of that now;)

Heres hoping for Derby to lose tomorrow, a Birmingham win today, and Leeds to win today. Means Derby will have nothing to play for next week, and if Leeds still need a result, at least they wont be playing a team gunning for automatic.

Good game last night though, enjoyable watching
