Hi all, just wondering if anyone has a idea of someplace outside the city or within with easy parking, where 10 people could get a good meal without breaking the bank during the day, probably 2pmish?

    REgards,

    Kieran

The title of the thread mentioned 'good priced'...Luigi Malone's is not good priced...very expensive for fairly ordinary food IMO.

long time since i lived in cork
But is castilies still there , just off Oliver Plunkett street( Back of Clancy's if i remember correctly), that was a nice Italian
and good prices ....ooops thats in the city not sure if its easy parking but the Grand Parade Car park is there

Agreed. I'm not sure what you're paying for, but Luigi Mallone's is definately overpriced for serving food which is no better (or worse) than a lot of other good restaurants in the city. If I was you I'd try:

Cafe Bar Deli (French Church Street/Academy Street)
Scoozi's (Winthrop Avenue, behind Brown Thomas)
Amicus (Rory Gallagher Place, might be pretty busy)

All adjacent to numerous carparks and better still, two minutes from all the bus stops on pana!
    Bon appetite

the brook inn beyond glanmire is good for pub grub if you're out that way.

blue ginger in wilton has a very good lunch menu, nice price too.

    Barry's or Ecos in Douglas.
The Plaza, Treacy's or Leonardos in Ballincollig.
The Viaduct - beyond Dunnes Stores on the Bandon Road.

I love Newport on Paul Street! It's the same building as Mangans nightclub.Their food is lovely but not too cheap.
Scoozis is really good too.And Scotts on Oliver Plunkett St.
