I went to the psychic fair at the Radisson hotel in Galway here SOUL 2 SOUL yesterday.....and I THINK I've just had a life changing experience......

I wasn't interested in seeing any of the mediums there today as Ive alot of mediums in my circle of friends, who tell me what I need to know when they think I need to know.... I've always wanted to have my aura photographed and read and here's what Maebh told me. Shes not a medium shes a spiritual therapist, councillor/psychotherapist

Apparently I was supposed to be a twin, somehow 'she' got lost along the way either her foetus didnt devellop or it just didnt happen the way it was supposed to....and that she was attaching herself to my energy, pysically attached to me all my life, the reason why I might feel tired alot. She also told me that although I am a Gemini, I may have put some personality traits down to being the gemini alter ego but infact my twin, trying to live out her existance THROUGH me, effecting my mood/behaviour etc.

I was then also told I was deeply psychic but that the bond with my twin in the spirit world was blocking any other devellopment. She then did a little reiki therapy on me and used her carnelian pendulum which she didnt do all day but felt she needed to with me.....she sent the twin that hadn't passed over to the spirit world (with my permission) via a little prayer and meditation , asked me if there was anyone in the spirit world I would trst to leave a baby with and I said my Nana......so in guided meditation she guided me to hand nana 'my twin' and if Nana smiled it meant she accepted the role as guardian. Apparently I might feel a grievance in the next two days and that it was just letting go. I cried infront of her and felt like a prat!! It just flooded out

All this was blocking my 'psychic channells' and now I should devellop more now.
I came home and asked mum but she said DEFINATELY no trauma during pregnancy and shes not aware I had a twin-said there wasnt.....
I think this has been the missing jigsaw piece for me , I always felt I was missing something in my life..... even my friend said I looked different, more balanced or something...
My aura is INDIGO anyway, which means apparently, a psychic gift and ...quite spiritual. It was green...well blue, flooded with yellow-signalling alot of fear and heartache in my life and alot of i to do with my psychic awareness and my blocked cannells, after she did the reiki, she took another phoo and it was indigo, my chakra was cleansed and there was a blob of purple to my right, meaning spiritual thoughts and connection. Since yesterday, I have actually had more preminitions!!

*sigh* I would definately recommend this to anyone!!!!!I feel great!!!!!!

I had a reading done in Edinburgh (with Stevenmu & Stormtrooper) where they used a camera hooked up to a laptop which allegedly read your aura and she then read from that. Interesting that she gave a good reading of my health from it.

I watched a programme recently called Miracles in the Womb. A huge majority of us were meant to be twins. And mum never knows.

I'm sorry i dont remember much more than that but even though your mother said no trauma it is still very very possible!!

I would love to get mine done. I wonder if it is the same crowd that do be in the Regency sometimes?

I'm kicking myself that I missed this. I saw the signs just as I was driving out of Galway and it was too late to go! Oh well, next time.

I too saw the programme on twins in the womb and yes apparantly lots of pregnancies start of twins but one doesn't develop and gets reabsorbed , sometimes even before the woman knows she is pregnant and certainly before she's had a scan.

So do you feel any better/ unburdened since this event? I would wonder though if it is more of a psychological unburdening rather than a psychic one. That probably doesn't make sense....hmmmm. Take for example a colleague of mine. Every time she goes on holidays she mentally drops her stresses out of the aeroplane window along the way e.g. over the South of France "Oh there goes "the boss"" and over the Alps.."there goes "big project" and she swears she arrives at her holiday destination already relaxed and destressed. So I think it's the suggestion and image of unburdening that has worked rather than anything else i.e she hasn't really dropped the boss out of the aeroplane!

I'm also not sure about the ethics of imposing on someone a grieving for a person that they never knew existed, or may not have existed. It's bound to have some impact on your mum too, if she believed in it at all.
If you do feel better for it though then that's great.

The aura thing intrigues me though. Despite staring at my children for many an hour I fail to see anything other than the faint white shadow that I see around everything if I stare for long enough!

I remember reading about this years ago. I think it was part of religious belief system. but i had a quick scout round the net and can't find anything. As far as I can remember it may have involved one twin being evil, one being good. And they believed we all started life as twins.

Anyone know these people were?

Ahhh Id have to scan the pic in....thats alot of hassle, lmao! My scanner's buried in the junk room! lmao, amongst my external burners and zip drives and printers, PWEEZE dont make me dig it out *kneels down and begs*.:(

My mum is interested but unphased now...she still believes there's NO WAY....then again, being told you might have lost a baby may be a hard blow.

The lady thought I lost a baby frist...but Ive never been pregnant, that I know of.....did have 2 scares but nope. I do actually feel good....or unburdened....not that I ever felt burdened but as I said I have ALWAYS felt something/ some part of me was missing...and thats what it was perhaps.

Well I was sitting infront pf a camera, hooked up to a programme and my hand on a thing which measures stress and emotional levels (all were perfect) but the photo gets read by a programme ON the laptop which spits out your analysis, breaking it down and theres a few graphs and pie charts showing stress level, psychic ability, emotional balance all that sort of stuff She was a Spiritual Therapist and a psychic so she also have me a personal reading.

Well done spotting the website.

According to how they describe the process though, it doesn't read auras at all. The whole "aura" is generated from the thing you have your hand on. It then combines that on the screen with the image of you.

On Parliament street, Dublin 2 theres House of Astrology with something like five readers working within. I remember reading a pamphlet and there is definitley one medium who specialises in Aura readings. Hope this can help.

I see where your coming from cheesedude. I've seen a lot of psychics and mediums and there are good and bad ones, like every profession. its important to have a balanced approach and not believe every word your told as I know only too well. Some of that aura reading sounds negative to me but at the end of the day its the person who has the reading done is probably the best one to judge. I wouldnt live my life by any reading, mainly because evry reader I went to told me different things. I wonder why sensitive soul believes this aura reader about trauma and twins instead of her mother though.....

I'm not saying its the case her but some people like to be told they are 'special' or 'different' - not to say that we all arent special but hopefully you get what I mean and I dont offend anyone.

Your right 6th, and I guess most people have got something different or special about them. How come you recommend premium phone line mediums, I've done readings myself on and off for over 10 yrs now as well as going to everyone I hear of but in my opinion most of these people are dodgy unless your a reader yourself it's hard to judge whose good or bad. A lot of themcan read your mind but not many can contact spirits or predict the future? just wondering what impressed you I'd like your opinion.:)

Nothing impressed me about them as I havent used them but when you get people coming on looking for mediums & psychics for parties I see no reason not to suggest them.

At the end of the day people with these gifts may not get much choice with how they put food on the table or dress there kids so I presume thesee places have some genuine people working for them. Its as hit and miss as anything else.

Hold on thats a very insulting comment. To suggest that I "feel no responsibility to others" ... WTF?!

I help out people on here both publically and privately all the time. I usually recommend June Davy but in some cases I think people should be given other choices and that these people who work for the likes of mediums.ie deserve a chance. I dont judge people just because of who they work for.
