Free 1890 / 1800 ?

    Kinda of a cryptic heading, sorry about that, wasn't sure what the best way to put it was!

    A client of ours has asked me to find out if it's possible to get a 1850 or 1800 number without the setup charges and monthly/annual fee?

    If so - who are the best people to approach?

    I don't think such a service exists, however it would be interesting to compile a list of all available providers. I do know of at least one company that will give you a 1850 or 1800 number without a setup charge, though their name escapes me at the moment. There's still a monthly charge though!

    I did find one in the past, but I couldn't find it again.

    It's only the setup charges or recurring rental fee that I would be looking for, for free. Not the actual charges.
