Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

When I open INternet Explorer 7 I can see all the toolbars and buttons but not the browser screen? The same in Outlook express, I can see all toolbars and all the emails but not the body of the emails?! I've done a complete virus check and avg check and found nothing. Has anybody seen anything like this before? All help greatly appreciated.

Are you able to resize the window ?

Something hasn't just resized the windows so the browsing pane is hidden from view.

Its completely blanked out regardless of window size and in outlook its just the body of the e-mail thats blanked out. I've uninstalled and reinstalled both explorer and outlook express to no avail.

    Help me please!!

Sounds like the HTML rendering is screwed.. Can you view source to make sure that its coming up in the source ie the text is there, it is just not being displayed to screen.

I have only seen this once before and I had to force a reinstall. You have said you have done this already

Can i ask you to check in another browser just in case its something else.. If its just IE then you can troubleshoot it better.

That sounds like a plan. I'll download a different browser and it bring it with me this evening to try.

i ssen something like this on my outlook before. it used to just show the emails. if i doubled clicked on them they would open. but it was a bit of a pain.

In outlook have a look at the VIEWS - theres loads of different types with preview and stuff like this. mess around with that.

Maybe this is not the prob at all if its the same with IE - but worth a shot.
