    http://www.fermoyrifleclub.com/

Last I heard it was all Sub-Sonic .22
    and some Pistol???

Be great if the place sometime would be able to cater
for supersonic .17HMR or some bigger calibre or anything else
so other peeps from around the country may be able to pay a friendly
vist to the range for a shoot!!

If your living in the Cork Area it may be the best and closest range.
If your not I reckon Midlands Range would be another great choice
as they cater for a wider varity of stuff.

I don't think there is a working hard definition of what fullbore is BB, in the past it's always meant any centrefire round, and smallbore always meant .22lr rimfire rounds, but things like the .17 rounds have somewhat muddied things up a bit.

Generally I think of smallbore as .22lr and fullbore as stuff that goes boom rather than bang; but if I need to be any more precise than that I use different terms (centerfire/rimfire or just quote the calibre).

Mmmmm Any more info on the Mallow range/club? Did not realize
that it existed AND did fullbore. Is this a sepearate club to fermoy rifle club
    or are they related ?

If it does full bore it means they
would have no problem with .17hmr then unlike some of the other places
    that only allow .22.

Wondering if it was close enough to get a bus as far as Mallow and then
maybe a taxi to the range and back ? Should anyone ever want to visit and
    not have a lift.

Dont see why .7hmr should be a problem. It's out a bit from Mallow itself though so not 100% about transport. Drop em a line yourself. I think email is countrylifestyle@eircom.net
