Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Vista extremely slow resume from Hibernate

I've not had much luck with google on this one so thought I'd see what folks here thought.

I'm running Vista Ultimate (have access to an MSDN sub) on my Dell Inspiron 9300. Spec is 2.0 ghz PM, 2048mb, nVidia 6800 Go with the standard (average) eIDE HDD.

The issue is that on resuming from Hibernate I'm running into a serious delay. XP would take approximately 20s to resume; Vista is in the order of 2 minutes. A black screen with cursor appears after 30s and remains for ~1m30s before the graphical login prompt is available.

I've checked Event Viewer (Diagnostics-Performance), no suspend/resume related logs there.

Any advice? If anyone has any suggested key phrases to google that'd be cool.
