Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have the full retail version of Office 2003 installed on my laptop but now want to sell the laptop on. Can I uninstall the software from the laptop and sell the office package separately and if so will it successfully install/register on another machine.

Strange question , the way its worded I take it you dont have the original install discs , in which case you have nothing to sell , there is no way to get the program out of an operating system and on to a disc unless you happen to actually have a disc image somewhere on the laptop .

So the answer would be no in this case , however if you do have the original install discs , then you just uninstall from the laptop and sell the original discs , serial number included. The full retail package can be installed and registered to another computer with no issues.

No issues then , once you uninstall from the laptop you can sell it , Once the buyer is the only one activating it then legally there are no problems

don't forget to clean out all your data, outlook is great for leaving attachments in temporary intrenet folders.

you could always stick www.openoffice.org on it for the buyer.

only thing to watch out for is if you upgraded an OEM version of office, but that doesn't apply to the full retail , just the version upgrade.
