Auto-racks

Ghost Rider

Anyone got any advice on a decent yet inexpensive auto-rack for carrying two bikes?

Cycleways do one for about 50 brick but the car needs a tow bar and the one I'll be driving ain't got one...

Any help, muchas appreciados...

I have seen the 2 bike version of this for €89 on the interweb. This is definatley the one I would go for, however I gather towbar is best if it is an option...

I looked into this last summer for my car. I found that Halfords had the best selection and was also the cheapest for the racks.

I have that bones set, its really good I fitted it to a saloon and also to my girlfriends VW golf. Its excellent. I got mine in halfords in coolock.

no thats not it, I searched the halfords site but it wasn't on it. I bought mine maybe a year and a half ago. I put 3 downhill bikes (veryheavy)on it once on the golf and it was fine.
I have also tested roof mounts I have 3 of them, different story there..... 1 failed with a DH bike on the m50! damaged roof... if you ever buy a roof mount for a dh bike get the heavy duty one.
