Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

PS2 to Xbox controller adapters - do they work?

Help out an old fart who doesn't 'do' games. Young fella has broken his (original) Xbox controller, but he has a couple of PS2 controllers. Do those cheapie adapter yokes work all right? Seems a lot cheaper than buying a new controller. I can see the buttons on the PS2 and Xbox controllers are marked differently, but do they control basically the same functions, for your average Xbox game? or would I be better off buying a new 'Xbox-compatible' controller?

    Thanks for any tips...

it kinda depends on what game your playing if they work or not, I got one and never really used it but had no problems with it to be honest.
you might get a spurious controller in tesco or xtravision for around the same price

They are a bit messy, haven't found one that I like to be honest. I'm sure someone here has an old joypad knocking about that they could pass on.

I got a spare xbox controller but you'll have to take the xbox with it. Where are you located?

Limerick. But could ask a mate to pick it up, if you're in Dublin.

You've an Xbox you want to give away? Or are you selling it?
