Having ****loads of money works for me, get in some players on loan during the mid season of your 1st season. Imo you have to get up 1st time of asking. Then buy certain players you know will come good ie Yakubu worth 20 goals a season.
To get loads of money you need to make calculated risks and thats entering most of your team for transfers only keeping your best 11 and about 7 others cover. I had 38k going up with a salary of 12 so bought in a few 17 and 18 year olds who are coming good now.
Team slightly changed, lost league on last day after pulling chelsea back from a 12 point lead to 2 in final game which i drew 1-1 and they lost theirs

Won the CL and Div 1 lost 2 games 1 in Cl group and another vs Blackburn (the free kick game).
Got top scorer and somehow didnt get best player with Tevez. Have 100k to spend and tbh im fine dont need any players.

Tevez 20 goals The Yak 19 ,mid shared 20 goals between them Nuri having a stunning free kick ability. Coker didnt score a goal even tho i played him front for last 2 games to try get one.

Just sold Bowyer and Zamora to give me 100k, no players i want as im happy enough with this lot, may get in some RWF and LWF that are 17 or 18 only.
My players have all gained between 2 and 10 stats each.
Won the league losing only once, Cl only once, played all my reserves in cup games and won semi 2-1 but in 2nd leg lost 4-1 to Newcastle in a freak game.
