Sometime ago I was having problems subscribing to some forums from the "forum tools" menu. I'd click on subscribe but nothing would happen. But on some other forums it worked no problem.

I noticed that the differences between the forums was the number of pages/threads. The forums with large numbers wouldn't subscribe for me.

I found a work around by setting the forum to only display threads for the last day or so i.e. displaying fewer threads. This got the menu working again.

Happened in Firefox 2.x and Opera 9.x

Hope that helps someone (to either fix the bug, or subscribe to a forum).

Good call. I think this problem will be dealt with when boards is upgraded to the latest vbulletin.
