Lost Contact With DNS Servers

1/1/1970 0:2:7> Lost contact with DNS servers

Keep getting the same above message over and over again on my router, currently living in donegal my isp is UTV on the clicksilver plus 3mb service, i can download stuff fine and view web pages but when i try to play counter-strike my pings spike up to 500-600+

Also got this message a view times in the log

ClientEntryAdd: Delete old Entry to make room!!!

I googled on your error message in your log and it is not looking good, nobody had a definite answer.

Have a look if you suggestion (2) is true. (I don't think so to be honest, I don't think you router is capable of providing a DNS service)

Obvious questions are: does it only happen when you run an application that makes a lot of connections (like running bittorrent or a game server)?

Try setting a different DNS ip in the router, http://www.opendns.com is very good

Maybe there is new firmware avaliable for your router?
