Date announcement now up on www.pokerireland.ie

Registration will open later this week.

Really looking for as much help from every tournament organiser in the country on this one......The idea is to break the record for the largest European tournament and with a €150 buy-in we're hoping every single poker player in the country will support this.

There will be a guaranteed prize-pool, it will be announced as soon as possible.

No Mermaid Poker - Danish site - really good guys..... are sponsoring this.....Obviously its a lot bigger with huge overheads so we needed to make sure we got this one right.....

Registration is going to be a lot easier this time around (we learned from the Student Champs).....

And again Paul this really is the only way to do this in terms of security, licensing and all the rest.......It looks they're going to guarantee a €100,000 prize-pool for the €150 buy-in.....Although thats not confirmed yet.

Yea we got the Copenhagen open in September and we will give away seats to it in a tourney online only for Irish players so you might have to betray your site for some houers and come and batle with me, there will of course be a bounty on me too like having to stand drinks with me on october 6 th or something else painful!

Mansion i think for now have their own network but swoping to Ipoker.... dunno really, maybe go to their website and mail them...

I'm assuming you mean Mermaid......They're on the boss network......Not one hundred percent sure if they accept Ukash but they have all the usual methods for depositing.....

Its held at Casino Ccopenhagen so yea there will be a bar for sure. Cant go anywhere in Denmark without having a cold one! :rolleyes:

the age limit is 18 years to enter the casinio.

Over 18's yes you must be my son.

No bar, no alcohol allowed on the premises (Irish law is an ancient thing)....

dont you mean The All Blacks against Les Bleus in Cardiff - cos Ireland will be playing their QF in Paris after they top their group:p

Just as well I didnt get my tickets to the Police so (the Stones will have to do instead), cos I'm really looking forward to this one after having to miss the Student Championships.

Hehe, I'm french so looking for Ireland to play, so that we play in Paris. to be fair, as long as it's not Argentina, I'll be a happy bunny. Just gutted i can't play in this now. I wish they'd kept their original dates of June though!!!

Event looks fantastic, think 8k stack with 45min levels would be better but with €100,000 gtd. its fantastic! Well done stephen, date and venue are great too.

Will defo take that on board and will PM yourself and Lloyd before I make a decision....But at the end of the day I have to do whats in the best interest of every player and the tournament itself so don't take offence if I settle on something you don't agree with 100%.
