Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi all, I'm probably in the wrong forum so mods feel free to move...

I need to block the facitlity to make a call to a mobile from a landline, I've been on to Eircom and they can do it for a monthly fee, which obviously I'd rather not pay.

Does anybody know if there's an alternative way to do it?

My old Siemens DECT phone could blocked numbers with certain prefixes, e.g. 00 or 08, plus it had a whitelist so I could add in specific mobile numbers such as myself and my wife's.

I'm sure most modern DECT phones have such facilities, obviously you should change the default password which will be 0000 or 1234

Only downside is the person you want to block could simply get a standard phone and plug that into the socket instead
