Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I am attempting to set up my belkin N1 wireless router which incorporates a modem but have been unsuccessful. The set up runs through all stages until the connect to internet stage when it then fails and asks me to check all settings that i have entered. i have confirmed all settings with my broadband service provider (BT) and attmepted to set it up on numerous occassions but it still won't work.

Double check with your old modem that BB is working first. Check the following settings:

    Encapsulation: PPPoE (PPP over Ethernet)

    Multiplexing: LLC-based

    VPI: 8

    VCI: 35

    MTU: use default setting

    DNS: auto assigned

If required please use the following

    Preferred DNS: 192.111.39.1

    Alternate DNS: 192.111.39.4

You don't really need to use the CD with the router. Just point a browser to the router IP, 192.168.*.* etc and navigate through the connection page.
