    Hello,

    I apologise if this thread is in the wrong forum, this was the closest I could find.

    I am in the middle of designing a basic website using HTML and NVU.

    I have one problem that NVU cannot help me with, on my index page I have two <table> and a <marquee>, and surrounding text.

    The text remains at the bottom of the webpage, no matter where I type it.

    Online there are many codes for wrapping text around images, but I would love if someone could show me how to wrap text around frames...

    Post up your code

    I'd advise staying away from frames (messy) and marquee (silly)

    I know tables are out of date etc.. but I dont know any substitues for them...

    What you're looking for is <div> </div> ... they don't work quite the same way as tables, but achieve the same kind of layout tasks.

    My best advice would be to start here...
    http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_intro.asp
    ...and take it slowly.
    Then read up on CSS.

    I know it won't get you started as quickly as NVU, but creating your pages by writing html directly avoids situations exactly like this, where the WYSIWYG editor isn't cooperating and you don't know how to fix it.

    wrap code in [*code][*/code] tags, just take out the '*'.

    just noticed that the above part of your site will cause problems should be
    <a href="Index.html">Home</a>

    could you post up a screenshot of how the page actually looks as well?
