Google sitemap.xml

I've created an sitemap.xml file, i've read up on google about it but still not sure what i do with the file or where to put it!????

Upload it your web root. Depending on your hosting environment this might be "public_html" , "wwwroot" or any number of other things

You then need to tell Google about it:
http://www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps/

Depending on what you've used to generate it you may also be able to submit it to Yahoo, who have a similar service
