    Hi All,

I bought a staffordshire bull terrier about 4 months ago. Shes a beautiful black bitch and shes IKC registered. At the time I had a job and I was going to get a house but I lost the job and had to stay in my apartment. Its now looking like I am going to have to stay here for a while so I cant keep my dog(Cookie). Shes getting too big and its not fair that she has no garden to play in. Shes got a great temperement, many dogs have tried to bite her and she just looks at them, doesnt growl or get annoyed. Shes a real pet I wish I didnt have to get her a new home. So if anybody is interested drop me a line.

Just to let you know, I have two big dogs (lurchers) and have no garden and my house is small.
I do live in the country though... they get three walks a day. It is possible to keep a dog in an apartment if you have a green area nearby.

Its going to be hard to home a staffie with all the recent sensationalism. You can try www.egar.org, who specialise in bull breeds.

    Hi All,

Just to let you all know I found a good home for cookie. A young couple in Tipperary took her. Theyve got about seven dogs, loads of companions for her to play with. I wish I could say I was happy but to be honest I feel dreadful. My heart is broken. But I hope that shell be happier. Anyway thanks for your help guys.

sorry to hear that wax, i have a 11mth old staff and it would brake my heart to have to give him up. they are great dogs despite people's attitude towards them, it;s not the dog its the owner as they say!
