Well... it's only a 2003 punto but it's great nick!!
Anyways, trying to sell it privately with buy and sell and carzone but no joy.
Have even dropped the price below all others like it.
    Any advice? :(

Make sure you give it a good wash, polish and hover.
Take some decent photos as well, inside and out.
Don't drop the price too far below other similar cars - people may think there's something wrong with it.
Where is the car located? I'd imagine a car is easier to sell in Dublin rather that West Mayo or North Donegal or someplace out of the way.

Try putting it up on www.adverts.ie. It is free so worth a shot.

Also take good photos of the car, preferably on a nice bright day with a nice background. In other words not in the rain parked close to an old shed. As someone else said spend some time cleaning the car inside and out when taking the photos. Good first impressions via photos will grab the attention of interested people.

Lastly, price the car realistically, no point in pricing it the same as what dealers are asking. Dealers very rarely sell the car for the asking price, they also have to bump the price up to take into account offering a warranty and other overheads. You will know pretty quickly if the car is overpriced by the amount of interest you get so give it a week or two and if no sale then drop the price again.

There are more cars these days being sold privately than before so you might have to sit tight if you want to get close to your asking price.
