Well, at long last I'm ready to show my first finished project; My modernised G3A3 (Classic Army SAR M41 Sportmatch SG). This is my primary, and favourite, AEG. I always preferred the look of the G3 to the G36 and it just so happens that it can be made into quite a modular platform if you're willing to look for the parts.

This can of course be brought back to standard issue with a single push pin.

The AEG itself was bought right here on boards, along with the Walther G3/MP5 red/green dot sight and vertical grip. The RAS was got from Go Tactical in Bray. The Dboys XT style rail covers were got from sight4us, an ebay seller.

Genuine magpul ASAP ambidextrous sling mount, BAD lever, MBUS sights, XTR rail panels and AFG.

Going by the 'how much do you spend on airsoft' thread, this gun cost more than the average airsofters kit. Worth every shillin' when the brap goes down, though.

Not exactly airsoft guns, but a pair of glasses i made up the other week for gaming, the bottom ones I made for moggy with a pair of bolle glasses as a doner,

My own ones above are and old pair of frameless falan single piece lenses. I made a template and cut out a new mesh lens for them from 1mm thick, 2mm perforated pressed steel. the field of vision out of them is brilliant and they are very rigid. theres a rubber rim on them just to prevent any friction on your face when wearing them too, then painted in a matt finish green with some black in there, mat green on the insides too to prevent light from shining off the mesh and making it more noticable to the eye.

A quick pic of the boys from my nam loadout. The M14 is a custom build with a G&G as a base, aged metal and a start on the wood but theres work to do. and the M16VN is a G&P body with a mix of all sorts of different parts from TM, G&P, King Arms etc etc. The receiver and mag are brushed back with a wire wheel and polished up a little to make them look more like the real thing. i attacked the heat shield with some umm, heat to give it a better look too and did some engraving on the stock. Just looking at the photo though i noticed i haven't put the M16vn original grip on. back to me desk i go...

Just need to pick up some M14 mag pouches for my webbing now.
