Hi folks,

Just finished converting my SRC RPK into a Romanian PSL, a designated Marksman's rifle.

The job wasn't as easy as I had first anticipated! I made and finished the wooden furniture myself with maple wood and I'm quite happy with it :-)

Thanks to Firekitten for the advice on the Magazine, scope and tightbore barrell, which all turned out to be true :-)

Just finished fitting a custom guarder metal slide and outer barrel to a battered old TM G17. Some serious filing and polishing required, plus some cut fingers but worth it in the end. seen here with laser grip.

I accidentally posted this on the discussions thread so I deleted the original thread and re-posted sorry mods.

Its been about a year since I did my last Family photo update.
I over estimated what I had, I thought I had more but from looking at the pics
I have less.

The collection is slowly starting to slow down and I've shortlisted about 20-25 more guns that I really want (for now)
I also would love some more heavy weapon replicas such as an RPG, the 6 shot Grenade Launcher and that type of thing,
and would love more WW1/WWII stuff. (Getting tired of modern looking things)
I've a couple of purchases in limbo land at the moment so will add them if I ever get them.

Also its about time I started to slow down on purchases and try my
best to stop buying!!! I struggle to pay bills and still dont even have so much as a garden wall around
my house despite paying a mortgage for the last decade so I should really be focusing on the more important matters
in life than wasting money on cool stuff that gets left in a corner most of the year

Thank God for the IAA talks with the DOJ at the time. If as Irish Airsofters
we had to register each purchase or get letters of permission etc I'd be screwed they would think I was stark raving bonkers wanting all this stuff.

This Horrid Horrid little Marushin thing is light, feels cheap, not pretty
but I HAD to buy it purely for the shell ejecting goodness.

(I dont like Marushin Branded stuff but they do make things that other
manufactures dont! if only they were able to make full metal stuff)

Slide release catch it dodgy interferes with smooth cycling of the slide
and tendency to pop out a bit when firing. Slide action is catching
on something and grating against something. its worse when gun is
not cocked. Waiting for neighbors to feck off so I can go outside
and fire and chrono it. (I like CZ as a brand my real steel rifle is a a CZ and
they are great out of the box for quality and accuracy)
(Unlike their Glock 8mm shell ejecting gun the shells are plastic on the
Cz75 model. the 8mm glock have metal shells)

[EDIT did not chrono it but it fires surprisingly straight out of the box and
has a nice oomph to it on propane feels similar to the slight kick a
CO2 pistol would give off.]

So lads, just got my new best friend today
Delighted with it, really accurate and the blowback is crazy... Amazing for a plastic slide.. I run it on Propane and Silicon so hopefully no faults... Have to give this a 10/10 just amazing. Best pistol I have ever fired by FAR.

New Tm beretta px4, with AFC metal slide and outer barrel kit installed. The silver is a bit blingy i know, kinda half regretting i didn't get the black kit, (squad701's one on here is really nice) but still impressed with it. the trades wouldn't be the best i've seen and ideally it should say px4 storm instead of custom but it does give a very nice clang to the blowback.
The pistol itself speaks for itself, and quality is quality with TM. Very accurate out of the box, great feel, nice new hop up adjustment feature and with the possible exception of the p99, it feels excellent in the hand, just very easy to grip.:)
