    I'd like to learn a bit of Welsh someday - does anyone have any book or website recommendations? Diolch! :)

    There is a really good folk music group called Fernhill who record mostly in Welsh - you can hear the sounds of the language very clearly in their songs. Also there was a film called "Beautiful Mistake" where John Cale went back to wales to meet musicians there and a lot of that is in Welsh. Can't think of any books or websites in particular but maybe try BBC languages website they are usually quite good.

    Try http://www.bbc.co.uk/wales/learnwelsh/. It's a great website for all levels in the language. If you're a beginner in Welsh, try Colin and Cumberland - it rules!!! :D

    Also, if there's anyone who also wants to learn Irish try http://www.bbc.co.uk/northernireland/irish/. It's really good as is Colin and Cumberland for Irish and Scottish Gaelic.
