    anyone know anything about this? Ive been offered it at a good price.

    Heres some info if anyone can tell me about it:

    It uses Destinator v3
    Teleatlas

    And is actually suposed to be a Mitac Mio 138 rebranded.

    Anyone know about these?

    I'll need it for UK and Ireland with postcode search and speed camera alert

    Apparently the TeleAtlas maps are useless for Ireland, if you need it for use here then it is best to stick with a GPS that has Navteq maps.

    I've heard though that navteq maps may be able to be uploaded onto the unit?

    I can get this for 125euro, or hold out and get the Aldi one 2mrw for 200.
    Im broke so the medion is a good option,but if its crap its crap.

    the medion runs on Windows CE, so you can upload programs to it such as a video player, games, photos, mp3's etc so it would be a good little gadget.

    But the aldi one seems a better option, just once it has postcode search, decent battery and Uk speed camera alert, i suppose its only 75euro extra!

    I missed out on the aldi offer and really need a GPS by next week.

    Ive found this system which is cheap (my main priority) and has Navteq irish and UK maps. I need some advice from anyone that knows about sat nav:

    Heres the spec:

    Full 7 digit postcode navigation
    * Arrow or 2D ‘birds-eye’ navigation
    * Spoken navigation instructions
    * Integrated SIRF III GPS receiver
    * Navteq UK/Ireland country maps
    * Backup powered by 4 x AA batteries
    * 256MB integrated memory
    * Map material for the UK and Ireland completely preinstalled on the 256MB internal flash memory
    * 2.8" TFT display with 65,536 colours
    * SD/MMC memory card expansion slot
    * Navigation with arrow or 2D display
    * Estimated time of arrival
    * Displays next manoeuver/direction in case of low GPS signal
    * Simplified menu navigation
    * 10 languages

    All i know is that its a navteq map and cant find out any specific details, but for 155euro deleivered you cant go wrong.

    Anyone able to shed some light on this?
