    Better late than never!

    Team news

    In: Keane
Out: Robbo, King, Snoop, Rocha (ineligible) BAE, Jenas, Murphy
With Rocha unavailable, Gardner and King out, Martin will have to re-jig his defensive line, but he has options. “We have a versatile squad, Pascal Chimbonda and Didier Zokora can both play in the centre and, if necessary, we also have Tom Huddlestone.

    1-1.poor hud!
great flick on header for the own goal, but superb finish by berby to equalise.

2nd goal was unreal, great vision from Hudd to feed Berbs, chest to control and volleys home.

    2-1, 5-3 on agg.

what a super goal by berbatov for the second. pure brilliance.

i think we ought to give leverkusan an additional 10 million for him.

indeed, but not as good as the two dives that braga scored from last week. although i suspect he was off balance anyway.

if i was PHB now, id say that it was completely justified, but at the same time, he didnt dive :)

ive been impressed by the level of commitment and hussling that spurs are doing.

and even steve mclaren gave us the thumbs up.

Steed at fault I felt, he pulled left and created the gap in the wall.

Into the last 8. Made it a bit difficult for ourselves but then again Braga never threatened from open play tonight.
Thought the commentary near the end was class - "Spurs are still in Europe while Arsenal are out :D (something like that!).

I have to say that Spurs will have to tighten up at the back or they'll have to keep scoring like rabbits, the goal fest is bound to dry up at some point.

    Mike.

I'm aware Braga aren't heavyweights of the game but some magic play, particularly during the first half.Dawson's passing was as good as I've seen it,Chimbonda as fantastic as ever,I'm regaining faith in the turbocharged Zokora and Malbranque is playing to his immense potential. He was solid defensively but I shudder each time YPL cuts back in on his right foot-I can't wait for the time when we've some speedy leftie swinging in accurate pacy crosses...is there a quicker version of Ziege out there?
